Sounds of the Underground Tour News and Tickets

Fireworks flew across the country on July 4th, but four days later the skies flashed and roared like the blast from an atomic bomb as the second annual Sounds Of The Underground rocked Cleveland, Ohio on July 8th.

For the next five weeks, the intense, ultra-aggressive metal and hardcore tour will criss-cross North America exposing the masses to some of the best bands playing today. The extravaganza will be headlined by As I Lay Dying, and will feature nine other showstoppers: In Flames, Trivium, Cannibal Corpse, GWAR, Terror, Black Dahlia Murder, Behemoth, The Chariot and Through The Eyes of the Dead.

Select shows will also feature the following hellraisers: Converge, Evergreen Terrace, Horse The Band, Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, E. Town Concrete, Shadows Fall, VOD, Job For a Cowboy, It Dies Today, Still Remains, Above This Fire, Ringworm, This is Hell, Municipal Waste, Dog Fashion Disco, The Last Starfighter, Killamora, A Heartfelt Tragedy, Sworn to Secrecy and Foreverendeavor.

The last day of this monumental tour is August 12 in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the second annual Sounds of the Underground are still available, but they’re going fast, ensuring maximum sized crowds for the chaos. Underground Summer

Dates are in for the second annual Sounds of the Underground tour, with nearly a dozen bands on board to showcase the many faces of metal.

The summer trek is to span five weeks, starting July 8 in Cleveland and hitting amphitheatres in 27 North American cities.

The tour lineup comprises As I Lay Dying, In Flames, Trivium, Cannibal Corpse, GWAR, Terror, The Black Dahlia Murder, Behomoth, The Chariot, and Through the Eyes of the Dead.

In addition, Evergreen Terrace will jump on board starting July 19 in Jacksonville, Fla., and several special guests will appear in select cities, including Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, It Dies Today, and Still Remains.

The final show is to take place August 12 in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

Tickets for most dates go on sale April 15.
